Bit of a rushed doodle and coloring job, but:
The scaly-foot gastropod (Crysomallon squamiferum) grows defensive scales of iron sulfide- pyrite and greigite.

Yes, that's right. It has biologically-produced metallic scales. I found out about these and I had to mermafy one... I figure they'd be natural metallurgists and smiths. This one's holding an ingot of something.
